Our Vision: Building Ballet Access for Every Child
Central Georgia Ballet was founded with a simple belief: that every child deserves the chance to experience the beauty, discipline, and confidence that ballet and dance can bring.
We’re starting small, but dreaming big. Beginning with our 2026 Summer Dance Camp, we’re bringing professional-level ballet instruction to Cochran, Eastman, Perry, Hawkinsville, and surrounding areas. We are aiming for communities where families may not have easy access to quality dance education.
Our long-term goal is to grow into a permanent home: Central Georgia Ballet Academy into a beautiful barndominium-style studio where local dancers can train, perform, and shine.
While we don’t yet have a dedicated studio space, our work has already begun within the community. We’re laying the foundation for Central Georgia Ballet Academy through outreach classes, workshops, and special events in Cochran, Eastman, Perry, Hawkinsville and beyond.
We are committed to making high-quality ballet training accessible, inspiring, and rooted right here in the heart of Central Georgia.

Families across Central Georgia deserve access to high-quality, classical ballet training without having to travel far from home. Our mission is to make that possible by offering professional-level instruction in a welcoming, family-centered environment.
Whether a child dreams of performing professionally or simply loves to move, we’re here to nurture that passion, one step and one plié at a time.

Establishing our permanent home: Central Georgia Ballet Academy
Our founder, Isabel, trained at respected ballet schools and programs, such as The Madison Studio for Dance Education and Orlando Ballet School. She also performed in timeless works like Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, and The Nutcracker. While training, she was in MSDE’s Senior Ensemble where she performed locally in Georgia Roots, Dancer’s for Hope, and Dance Fest. She experienced firsthand how ballet teaches discipline, artistry, and self-belief, lessons that extend far beyond the studio.
Recognizing that many families in our region don’t have access to focused ballet training, Isabel felt called to change that. Her dream is to make high-quality dance education available in the heart of Central Georgia so that young dancers can dream big, close to home.
Central Georgia Ballet Academy isn’t just about technique. It’s about nurturing confidence, grace, and community one dancer at a time.
